Every project follows the Tangerine Design philosophy that’s existed since the company was founded in 2010.
01 FUNCTION
How you use the space is always considered first. Every design decision is grounded in answers to questions like: Do you like to cook? How often? Who with? What is your family dynamic? Do you have children? How many? How old? What about entertaining? Do you prefer baths or showers? How much laundry do you do? How much clutter is driving you crazy? The more I understand about your family dynamic, the more perfect a space you’ll get.
02 FLOW
How you move around the space comes next. Your home should be a place where you can move freely, comfortably, and with joy. Flow is enhanced with considerations about floor space, natural light, placement, storage, etc. You want to walk into the room and have it just work. Effortlessness takes a lot of effort, but you can leave that to me.
03 FINESSE
And finally, we focus on how you feel in the space. This is when we pour personality into your design choices — everything from tiles, lights, floors, appliances, cabinets, colors, textures, and more — so your home doesn’t just feel good to be in, it feels like yours. This is what makes a truly happy home.

"Tiffany designed the kitchen addition, as well as 4 bathrooms (one all new and three remodels), for our two-story late 1940’s home. She very quickly understood my tastes and I always felt we were in synch on the goals for each room. Her knowledge about construction techniques and the overall process was indispensable and she delivered on all of her undertakings.
Our project was undertaken during the disruptions of the pandemic, plus it involved an old home—so there were hiccups and unanticipated issues all along the way. Tiffany helped us work through each issue, with patience and, always, a professional attitude.
